Session 45: Life After Hell

Expedition

Gabriel, after having sacrificed his soul to save his son and friends, emerges as an Aasimar, with the soul of a being named Mikhael. He is very mysterious, and now in full control over Gabriel's body, now that Gabriel's soul has been removed. The Navali seem to have been wiped out by this attack. Any survivors there may have been fled in various directions out of the camp. They continue along their way toward Oathkeep, but run into some cultists of Venumbra who attempt to steal Lanthem's red crystal in the middle of the night. They chase them down to the Fermata Forest, and have a confrontation with them, as well as the Shadow Monster, who winds up possessing a Tyrannosaurus Rex and attacking them. Though they killed all the cultists, they were forced to flee from the T-Rex, and wound up getting ambushed and surrounded by a group of Wood Elves.
