The Citadel
The Citadel is the largest man-made structure in the world. It is a Dwarven-made stone temple, four stories, and over 60 feet tall, built in the center of the crater in New Crescendo. The Dwarves made it for the High Elf of New Crescendo, and houses a permanent portal to and from the floating city of Orchestria a mile above the temple.
Surrounding the Citadel is a water moat, with only one bridge leading into it. The moat isn't permanent, but fills in every time it rains, as the crater naturally flows downward into the moat. Humans are not allowed inside the Citadel without an invitation, and it is heavily guarded to keep people away from the portal to Orchestria.
