Dramaturge

The Dwarves, through their prose and storytelling, are capable of tapping into the Bardic magics without the use of music, through the art of Dramaturgy. These special types of Bards are known as Dramaturges, and are capable of casting Bardic spells without the use of instruments. Instead, they use either poetry, monologues, or dramatic poses and storytelling.

Social Status

Most Dramaturges use their magical abilities to put on and enhance their shows. This might be anything from a proper acted play, to a poetry night reading, to campfire storytelling. In these contexts, Dramaturges are accepted, even celebrated. Some Dramaturges use their magical abilities for adventuring, or labor work. Typically these Dwarves are looked upon as being a bit weird.
