Death Hand

The Death Hands are clerics of Daestrus in New Crescendo, who provide the city with a variety of services. In addition to giving sermons on Daestrus, their primary function in the city is to service, clean, and dispose of the dead, and provide funeral rites for the dead and their loved ones. When a human in New Crescendo dies, the Death Hands will go out and fetch the body, bring it back to their temple, where they bless it, clean it, and wrap it in leather strips. They then dispose of the dead in accordance with the deceased's favored customs, which is dependent upon which God they favored most for the Death Ritual.
