Triad Unremembered

For what little the public seem capable of remembering about the Triad, a disturbing percentage of the population seem to know their names - Varlet, Uldir, and Gallenwald. Described as a trio of black-haired humans with brooding eyes, the Triad are regularly seen wandering the galaxy, either on the ground or in their infamous starship - Totem.
Entire networks have been created to track the group, but they seem incapable of staying active for more than a month or so, after which they begin to suffer technological failures and lack of interest. There is no written statement about their goals or motivations, but many consider them to be a neutral force, ensuring balance throughout the cosmos.
