Border tensions again explode into violence.
A common history of the Shadow Lands leading to the Imperial Conquest and the events since.
After 3 years of war to the west the inhabitants of @Lightspear were tired of war. The were sending men to battle against other Shadowlanders, but no action was being taken to protect them against the encroaching nuxong tribes. Finally, as the year waned from midsummer, the people, led by a minor noble, led a revolt, and overthrew the governor from @Nakarmalai.
It has long been said that he who ruled Capitol ruled the Shadowlands . But long had the old city fallen to ruin, the fief of petty nobles long out of power, gasping for relevancy. Ancient palaces were inhabited by ruffians, would be warlords, and small minded fools. The Lord of Shadow is none of these things. No one knows when he arrived in the city. He started by taking control of the river docks, pitting one rival against the other until he could step in and enforce order. Slowly he pushed the borders of his small realm further, claiming the entire time to be the rightful heir to the throne of Appabav. Many stood in his way. All bent the knee, or fell. Finally on midsummer, he forced his final rival to kneel, and was named Lord of Capital. Few took notice.
The Lord of Shadow comes into his own
The first city to fall to Imperial Conquest. The force brought to bare was small, and none expected the swift and violent fall of the City Under the Boughs.
The self proclaimed Lord of Shadow triumphant, in possession of the Shadow Crown and Book of Years, sits in the throne room of Appabav and is crowned Emperor.
From the Day the Emperor was first crowned and sat on the Father's throne.
After many years on the throne Prince Vizparbav of House Nasir passed away, and was suceeded by his son Lukas, who took the title Bav.
