The Void King
Severon, also known as the Void King (or the Soul-Eater), is the god of loss and finality. He is a member of the Celestine Pantheon, and the youngest child of Ilsa, and Enson.
Description
Severon was described as a shifting, glimmering being made of emptiness. Those few who have seen him stated that it seemed his body absorbed surrounding light. While some believe him to be solely a masculine god, many claimed that his form shifted frequently between both masculine and feminine aspects.Personality
Said to be the most inquisitive of Enson's sons, Severon was constantly looking for answers involving his own nature. As the God of inevitability, Severon longed to find a way to reconcile his infinite power with the fact that his domain was by definition the absence of infinity. Severon was said to be even-temepered and preferred his solitude, watching from afar and observing the lives and dispositions of those around him.Powers
As the god of loss and finality, Severon was said to have the ability to ferry mortals souls from the mortal plane off into his divine realm, The Void, at the moment of their death.Divine Realm

Severon had a particular kinship with half-sister Illymar, with whom he shared a fascination of the mortal realms. Severon and Illymar spent a great bit of time together in disguise, walking amungst the mortals.Rubicon
Severon held his older brother, Rubicon, in reverance for much of their lives, but while Rubicon looked at mortals as beings he needed to lead, Severon felt a longing kinship with them, viewing them more as equals.The Celestine Gods

Severon had few followers, differing greatly from other gods. Severon never felt he was a god worthy of worship. Instead, he stood for something that many mortals feared: loss and death. However, those few who did worship Severon viewed him as a protector and ferryman of souls.History
The Great Awakening
Rubicon is a third generation Deity, youngest son of the gods Ilsa and Enson. The birth of his brother, Rubicon marked the beginning of what came to be known as the Great Awakening, a surge of creation that marked the birth of several new gods, including Severon, Gemmos, and Illymar.Walking Among Mortals
Severon felt a kinship with humans from an early age. He admired their acceptance of finality and loss, as well as their ability to find joy in a life they new would one day come to an end. As such, Severon, as well as Illymar, spent a large portion of their time in disguise, walking amungst the mortals and watching mortal affairs.The Celestine War
During the Celestine War, mortals became involved in the usurper god, Titanis's mutiny, resulting in a devastating mortal war in 1274 BCE. In order to end the war, Severon made a monumental sacrifice. His brother, Rubicon, tricked Titanis into entering The Void, and Severon, though disheartened, absorbed his realm, destroying it and Titanis with it. After their victory, with no where for mortal souls to go after death, Severon would now forever be forced to absorb all souls that left the mortal plane, destroying them for eternity.Holy Books & Codes
