Cano

The Cano refers to a special method of technology that allowed the Ará in ancient times to travel between the Planar Ótapi and its many Selars to establish numerous settlements thousands of years before the arrival of the Ars. Canos were specially crafted vessels that could speed through the currents that were safe between the various Forms and resisted the usual elemental flux found in the major regions of The Subselar Boundary of the Castraversi.   As it allowed those on Ótapi to expand and eventually spread out throughout the length and breadth of their Framework, it became a major source for trade between the settlements, and also transportation between martial conflicts between groups as it occurred between the rivaling forces.   The efficiency of these traveling vessels impressed the Ars who prior to entering the Framework were used to their massive vessels that were slow moving through Free Space and were often stationary for long periods of time. Many engineers of the Ars started to mimic Cano technology in their own transportation innovations and this led to the rise of several iterations, the most coveted of these among the Xalians to be the Seventh Current, a transport vessel designed on a self-powering source rather than the constant need for extracted fuel.   Overall, Ará proliferation and subsequent Ars transportation technology progress owes much to the existence of the Cano, even if the Ars tend to keep that realization to a minimum among the populations they try to dominate on the Riven Lands from their original transportation vessels they've turned into headquarters on Sector Kelm
