Ashmagne Ait (Ash-main Aye-et)

Ashmagne Ait is a river-island city that is considered the largest hub in the southern Outer Realm regions. 

Ashmagne Atoll

While the Ait is commonly what most refer to when speaking of the city in context, the Ait is merely the central hub to the Ashmagne Atoll, which is the encompassing islands that surround the Ait. The Atoll is a distribution of farmland and simple natural resource operations that support the general trading hub of the city. It is also a stark contrast to the lavishness of the city, with most of those who are poor and lower class scattered across the Atoll, only to look upon the Ait with lust and distaste.

Government

The Ait is ruled by two levels of government, the Baron and the three Governors. 
Each island of the greater Atoll is ruled by one of the three predominately wealthy families, with the lady or lord of each family appointed as the island's governor. 
At the center of the government is the Baron, who resides in the Ait and is elected by the three houses, generally a round-robin style election where each family rules for five years at a time before their term expires and a new Baron is appointed. 
The current baron is Malik Anward, of the Anward Family.
