The Dragon Head Lake territories
Consisting of a peninsula and a scattered archipelago of isles within an inland sea. The territories are the most active navel presence in Remnant, and were surprisingly the last territory to fall to the City-Ruin's expansion. Able to enact a policy of hit and run tactics against the far less experienced sailors of their enemy. It was only once their neighbours in the Spider Borders fell that they realised they would not be able to outlast their enemy forever, and surrendered peacefully. Uniting Remnant in the process.
The people of the territories, referred to as Draks commonly. Are a hardy bunch, often toughened by lives spent on the waves. Their population mostly consist of humans, Orks, and half Orks. With the rest made of the usual mix of Remnant peoples. They benefit from a stable fishing economy. There are however some issues. A heavy rainfall is common in the area, and the seas can become suddenly stormy with little warning. Some kind of elemental flux appearing and disappearing just as quickly.
Complicating the sailing is the ruins hidden underwater that can run aground an unfortunate ship with a crew unfamiliar with the local waters. Individual isles and villages tend to closely guard "their" waters, offering their services to guide ships through their specific areas. Technically this isn't necessary, but the Draks fear losing their lands to the City-Ruins, and thus make it as difficult as possible for them to get around.
Worshipers of the Echo of Aquas can be found all over the territories. Some even claiming to have seen the figure of their goddess themselves silhouetted against the heavy rain out over the water. They prey at partly submerged platforms at islands edges, giving thanks and offering for the bountiful catches, and calm seas.
