The Violet Hoard

The Tavern's Tale The Violet Hoard is owned by a widowed man and his daughter, both of whom are members of a race that is uncommon in the area. Both of the owners are law-abiding citizens with no hidden secrets or notable personality quirks. Before owning the tavern, one of the owners tried to earn a living as an artist, while the other fought as a gladiator in a famous arena. The inspiration for the tavern's name was a local legend. It is a tavern of poor quality, and its main draw is the extensive adventuring paraphernalia adorning the walls.
The Bartender The bartender at The Violet Hoard is an adult male half-elf who is decidedly average looking. He is often unusually light-hearted in disposition. His skin is coppery, and he has pink hair, kept in a short, messy style. Physically, he is unmistakably muscular.
The Clientele On a typical night, the clientele at The Violet Hoard can be described as wonderfully welcoming. On this occasion, there are a few other people currently in the tavern. A couple of them are engaged in a heated debate. Leaning against the far wall, there is a human woman with curly hair. Her name is Alyssa and her fellow adventurers disappeared from their camp one day's ride from town. They left behind all of their belongings, leading her to believe it was some sort of extraplanar abduction.
The Accommodations The rooms for rent at The Violet Hoard are cramped and dirty. There are currently two rooms available for rent. The cost for a night's stay is 7 cp. If the party spends the night in the tavern, nothing happens during the night and the party wakes up after a night's rest.
