The Council of Magnola

Diplomatic action

In the year 900, representatives of the various nations of Haven, including but not limited to Ravil, Gallica and Pucraele assembled in the city of Magnola in a grand assembly and together declared victory over the hated Jotnar.
While this event was mostly organized as a spectacle and to rally political support of the participants, it was also used by several of the participating representatives to settle disputes about official state borders and other stately matters.
Though the council was a notable historical event and the war was officially over, the clans of pucraele continued fighting small pockets of Jotnar resistance for many decades to come until they were eventually forced to flee into the frozen north.
