Zheng

Zheng is the proprietor of the "Winged Serpent" tea-shop in Sweetlake in the Lionel County in Gallica. He personally prepares and serves the tea to his clients.
Besides his work in the tea-shop, Zheng also works as a middleman and information trader for mercenaries, merchants, criminals and nobles. He has a decent bit of influence and money, as well as a wide network of contacts. He has friends in both high and low places.

Zheng is an immigrant from distant Scyjia. He is quite distinct as he continues to wear traditional scyjian clothing and always wears white gloves.

The Truth
Zheng is an exiled scyjian blood mage. He was forced to flee his homeland due to angering a collection of powerful lords. Before his successful escape, he was held and tortured, during which his hands were badly burned. Now he covers them at all times to hide his shame.
Zheng works as a middleman for all kinds of jobs and individuals, including criminal ones. However while he works with thieves and thugs he refuses to work with murderers, and goes out of his way to sabotage murderers of women and children.

Appearance:

Zheng dresses in traditional Scyjian clothing and always wears white gloves.
He is also clearly ethnically Sciyian and stands out among the surrounding gallican folk.
