The Horned Wolf
The Horned wolf is a Titan that lives in the frozen wastes at the north pole of Haven, where it is a terror upon the local ice dragons.
The wolf is a child of Tiamat and the demon lord Baphomet, from which it inherits its horns.
It is also intelligent and capable of human speech, though the main tongue it speaks is Wild-speak. A legend tells that those who cross the Horned wolf's gaze and live will surely find true love. This is likely just superstition, as not many venture to see the beast and live to tell the tale.
The wolf practises no magic but it posesses an unnatural wisdom and awareness of the wider world. It is suspected that it has Oracle-like abilities.
It was first discovered by humanity as a prisoner of the Jotnar during the War of Tyrants. It agreed to help their war effort in exchange for its freedom and both assisted humanity by personally slaughtering many Jotnar as well as creating the curse of Lycanthropy.
Once the war slowly petered out, the horned wolf retreated to the far north of Haven. It rarely leaves from this cold realm of ice and storms.
