Stag Knights

The stag knights are a relatively young organization, founded after the Abros county civil war.
They were made up of former lionel knights, deliberately separated from direct command of the lionel county's nobility but retaining their loyalties.

Location:
The Stag Knights live in a fortress near Sweetlake in the Lionel County.

Specialty:
The Stag knights have a tradition of archery, in addition to swordfighting and cavalry. They are well known for organizizing archery tournaments to find new recruits.

Tradition:
The Stag Knights have a tradition in their order that new initiates must venture alone into the forest with nothing more than a longbow that they fashioned themselves, and return only upon hunting a stag. If they do not manage to do so by the dawn of the third day, they have failed the trial and must remain a squire for another year.

Relics:
The stag Knights were granted a shield emblazoned with their emblem as well as a banner by the lionel county's ruler at the time. These relics are now signs of office of the Knight Commander.
