Druidic circles
Description
Druidic circles are secret societies of druids that band together for mutual protection, guidance and companionship.Druidic circles usually organize themselves around a place of power, such as a Magical forest. There ususally isnt a strict hierarchy inside a circle, though its members will usually defer to superior wisdom and age. The Circle must also be made up of like-minded individuals otherwise the circle will shed members until unity is restored.
One ususally joins a circle at adolescence, as part of the training to become a druid, and remains part of that same circle for the rest of one's life.
When druids leave their circles for whatever reason, they always have the option of migrating to new areas, building their own sacred groves and form their own circles.
Deviant societies
Druidic circles are made up of druids and nature-priests. They can be made up of peaceful hermits or territorial savages, it matters not.All that defines druidic circles is their commitment to life and nature. As such, druidic circles may ally themselves with Witches, Wildlings or Lizardmen if they are so inclined.
Their relationship with nearby towns and cities may also vary greatly, from forest mystics that strengthen their harvests to vengeful maniacs that kill any that step foot in their territory.
No matter what, druidic circles usually have positive relations with any nearby Dryads.
History
Druidic Circles are among the oldest organizations on Haven, some of them carrying on traditions inherited from Kar-Kut.Still, the influence of druids on the history of haven is very limited as druidic circles are far from civilisations and almost always uninvolved in politics, territorial disputes and the like.
