Law of Gods' Flesh
All things which can be touched are of Divine Flesh. Divine Flesh is of four Natures: of Structure, of Rhythm, of Glory, and of Rebellion.
There have been those who have argued that Laws of Gods' Flesh and Gods' Breath should be divided into several laws, one each denoting the nature of physical and spiritual materials as being divine in origin, and another eight describing how different varieties of Flesh and Breath inherit aspects from their progenitors. Ultimately, however, Alkeptoros' cultural and theological import as the last of the Great Craftlords before the Elevation of Aestyvus, as well as this arrangement's not-inconsiderable historical momentum, mean that there is unlikely to be any change.
Manifestation
The world was made from the flesh of four gods, who are now the World-Weary: Kogrun, The Architect; Mallat, The Heart Unceasing; Pennak, The Shining Majesty; and Vassar, The Empty Throne. There is no physical material which cannot, at the basest level, be broken down into the Divine Flesh of at least one of these four.
As such, physical materials derive their properties from the natures of these four. Kogrun imparted Structure, which naturally draws materials into a stable, latticed arrangement Mallat imparted Rhythm, the ebb and the flow, the root of all motion. Pennak imparted Glory, which is dazzling to the senses. Vassar surrendered Rebellion, which strains against most laws and conventions which govern the other three.
