Edvran Vehlist
Edvran Vehlist, a self-proclaimed "mech-poet," stands at the intersection of art, mechanics, and rebellion. Hailing from Rootloch, Edvran grew up amidst the vibrant subcultures of machinists and artists. His early works—mechanical sculptures that blended form and function with sharp social critique—earned him a minor reputation in Rootloch’s radical circles. Yet, it was his poetry, hammered into metal or etched into discarded machine parts, that caught the eye of The Conservatory.
Though welcomed into the guild, Edvran has yet to perform a kill, his artistry focused instead on writing oblique verses to accompany the guild’s Presentations. These writings, both haunting and provocative, have impressed his superiors, but Edvran’s reluctance to wield a blade casts doubt on his commitment. He insists that his poetry is preparation, a means to understand the art of death before contributing fully.
