Exploring the Village of Barovia
General Summary
Previously On...
Moving from the Death House, still injured and unable to rest, they wander deeper into the Village of Barovia. Walking down a street, the characters noticed a smashed-in window of a barber shop. After poking their head in, they fought off a couple of Strahd zombies and left a one-star review on Yelp. They tried to sneak through the town, in order to avoid detection, and did not succeed. However, there doesn't seem to be much movement out in the street at this time.After knocking on a random person's door, they party talked with a Barovian man through a crack in his boarded up window. The man was harsh and seemed baseline resentful of any adventurers. Dory offered to trade information for a Dream Pastry, and the man agreed. However, he was very, very upset when Dory did not have a Dream Pastry, and he stopped talking to them.
Walking further down, they found Bildrath's Mercantile which had many goods (priced at three times their worth) and was staff by two people, Bildrath and his nephew, Parriwimple. Kovu, with the encouragement of Blanche, attempted to flirt with Parriwimple. Parriwimple does not seem wooed just yet, but is still very friendly and helpful towards the party. With the directions they got, they made their way towards the Blood of the Vine Tavern.
