Foreman Ellis Crenshaw

One of two foremen of Big Thumb Mine, a blackstone mine far out in the Lower Badlands. Ellis is the father to Jin, Dhalia, Mila, and Payne. Ellis found Payne on his way back to Bastion and has cared for her ever since.
Big, mustachioed, and soft spoken, Ellis is well respected among the foremen as a man of character, and is rarely has need to raise his voice. His calm demeanor runs counter to his impulsive, boisterous partner.
