The Sea Ghost

The Sea Ghost is a vessel outfitted for smuggling that has been operating in the coastal waters around Saltmarsh for the last few months.
A single-masted Sloop, the Sea Ghost has taffrails that are covered in large spiked poles and a dragon wing carved into each side of the prow. A long female Merfolk figurehead sits under the bowsprit, her arms raised above her head and a lascivious look carved on her face.
The name of the ship is painted on each side of the prow above the dragon wings, in a turquoise paint that seems to glow slightly in an unearthly and unsettling way.
The Ghost has a length of nearly 90 feet, a beam of 26 feet, a draft of 8 feet, and stands 9 feet above the waterline to the top of its main deck rails and 17 feet above the waterline to the top of both its forecastle and poop deck. A jolly boat is lashed upside down on the main deck.
Until recently it was captained by Sigurd "Snake Eyes", a large and brutal man whose background is somewhat of a mystery. He reportedly had several wives in several ports, though none of them seemed to know about each other.
