Abolethic Sovereignty

In the Far Realms the Aboleths lurk, in the chaotic maelstrom of madness and power, tentacled beasts with alien minds.
Occasionally one will enter through a rift into our world and slip into hiding. Using its powers of mind control it will enslave those in positions of power, using them to manipulate the humanoid world of the surface for it's unknown aims, sowing chaos and malcontent.
The Abolethic Sovereignty is a rumoured organisation, spoken of in hushed tones. None know for sure if it is real, and the ultimate aim of the organisation is unknown.
Scholars have surmised that the Sovereignty aims to open a portal between the Far Realms and the Material Plane, allowing their kin through as they search for their lost city of Xxiphu. The lives and desires of men mean nothing to the ancient beings.
