Adelan

General Information

An island continent in the southwest of Crinamere, Adelan spans over 2,500 miles end to end. The continent is home to various different kingdoms and city-states. Adelan is isolated from the other continents of Crinamere for a variety of reasons, such as scurvy, dangers of sailing, and the difficulties of navigating at sea.

Biography

Adelan has various biomes, from deserts to forests. Rivers span across the land as they journey to the coast from various different sources. Some rivers flow from the mountains that reach desperately towards the skies, others meander around and down hills as they flow from springs and lakes.Adelan is split into seven regions. Five of these regions are kingdoms, one is a city-state, and the last region is the Wilderness. Each of these regions experiences all four seasons, although the length of each season differs based on the region. The northernmost regions have longer summers, while the southernmost regions have longer winters.

Resources

Natural resources in Adelan include the ever-present Astral Energy, various types of ore, various types of wildlife, and several types of wood. Many of the rarer and desirable resources reside deep within the Wilderness, as those resources have been all but exhausted in the other regions.
