Interventionists

As you wander the halls you stumble upon a conversation between two people, a blue skinned humanoid and some sort of bulky biped reptile. The two wore the normal office uniform for the people within the offices here. When you got to a safe distance beside some vending machines, you sit and eavesdrop on their conversation.

I heard the Director isn't please about the recent protests from the interventionists.

— Chronologist

Interventionists? Aren't they the ones who brought in Prisoner 662?

— Comms Specialist

Yes, but they are also the people who altered a timeline to the point that we had to restart it completely.

— Chronologist

Seriously? I thought that it was banned?

— Comms Specialist

That's what I thought, but apparently the damage was very severe.

— Chronologist

It would appear that I should avoid these Interventionists at all costs.

Beliefs

What are they want then? Why would they ever want to alter a timeline?

— Comms Specialist

I'm not entirely sure to be honest. When I talked with Dr. Sun and he says that they desire to ensure that corruption and evil are defeated in all timelines, so to avoid the suffering of others. Of course, thats nonsense, you just would end up causing more diversions and temporal rifts.

I wouldn't be sure. I mean, I don't see the reason why we let the genocidal killers continue on with their lives. My people had several and still do and will never achieve spaceflight on the majority of timelines because of it.

— Comms Specialist

I explained in great detail before, but let me tell you again. You never know what will happen if you alter them. Such large changes could make the situation even worse and look at the logistics of managing-

I get it! Still I don't blame them. They want to fix the problems within the multiverse and the Director doesn't even try to appease their demands.

From the conversion it would appear that these Interventionists want to be the time police. Knowing the Division, it fail upon arrival.

Popularity

Why should he? There is like maybe ten or twenty at most. Most of us here follow the regulations because we want too! It's our job and none of us would be here otherwise.
