Master of Ceremonies
The Master, or Mistress, of Ceremonies is a senior noble official who is responsible for conducting stately ceremonies, such as coronations or receiving of foreign senior officials. In addition to courtly ceremonies, the Master of Ceremonies organizes national holidays and festivities, appointing locals to act as liaisons and organizers for each village, town and city.
Duties
The duties of a Master of Ceremonies can vary from court to court or from council to council, depending on the nation and it's internal breakdown. But all Masters of Ceremonies share common duties. These duties include, but aren't limited to, the following:
- Royal Coronations or Inaugurations: Formal admission into a the head of state.
- Announcing visitors: Introducing visitors to the court or equal equivalent.
- National Holidays/Festivals: Organizing of local officials to host festivities and ceremonies.
Responsibilities
Outside of their main duties, the Master of Ceremonies is responsible for ensuring accommodations for officials visiting from other nations, but not from within their respective nation. That, generally, falls upon another official such as a Steward who manages a King or Queen's royal estate.

The benefits of the Master of Ceremonies varies from nation to nation and court to court. It can also vary based on the type of head of state they serve. They also gain common benefits that other officials receive. But most receive the following:
- Room & board within the royal estate (Monarchies only).
- Monetary salary.
- Ability to own an estate within their head of state's estate. (ex. A manor on the Crown's Estate).
- Political power which can be used to aid their station.
