Vessia Tesserus (a.k.a. Vess, Vessi)
A proud warrior and elite Centurion of the Sidereal Legion, Vessia Tesserus was stranded on Felis I along with the rest of her troop approx. 87 years before the arrival of the Hedron crew. Having fallen into a comfortable routine of enforcing Zurvan's brutal will, it took a (fatal, indirect) intervention from Parsnip to remind her of the values she and her comrades had forgotten.
After the toppling of Zurvan's dominion, Vessia joined the Hedron crew as a security specialist and trainer. Under her tutelage, many crewmembers have taken up the blade, including Parsnip and Layle.

Favors lightweight athletic wear, or anything that allows her full range of motion. On the advice of Bej, who borrowed her body for a time while Persephone was out of commission, Vessia has taken to dyeing the tips of her feathers bright pink.

Like most citizens of the Legion, Vessia began training in combat at a very young age and never stopped. After serving with distinction as a legionnaire, she was hand-picked by Tribunate Aurelio Constans for further training as a Centurion.
Employment
Currently head of the informal 'Hedron Squad' task force, dedicated to keeping the ship's combat-oriented crewmembers sharp and ready. Provides personal training services as well to anyone who can keep up with her during her morning laps in the Beachzone.
