Daevas

A settlement on the planet of 8673 Felis I, made up of a massive stone ziggurat surrounded by multiple tiers of smaller structures. Built an unknown number of years ago by the time goddess known as Zurvan, the city has undergone innumerable cycles of destruction and rebuilding, leaving it a bizarre mix of bronze age and space age infrastructure.

Demographics

A seemingly random mix of aliens from throughout the galaxy - past, present, and future.

Guilds and Factions

The City is home to dozens of guilds, organized by citizens to enable sensible competitions between practitioners of radically different fields.   Encountered so far:

History

Summoned from nothingness anywhere from hundreds to thousands of years ago, Daevas was originally intended to be a "perfect city" capable of surviving an unknown extragalactic threat.   After Zurvan was slain by a mortal now known as the Usurper, her new incarnation transformed the city into a battleground upon which the Eternal Tournament would be waged. Instead of the former "perfect city," Daevas was now host to a contest that would forge warriors of unparalleled skill and power, in order to take the fight directly to the unknown threat.   Following the second and final usurpation of Zurvan, executed in part by the Hedron crew, Daevas was moved to Felis III and used by Zurvan's future self as a staging area for the return or exodus of its inhabitants. Once fully evacuated, its ruins were left for nature to reclaim.
