Tyrant's Pass

Overview

Tyrant's Pass is a not very well known way through The Border Mountains. It is one of the few ways to make it through the massive mountain range without passing through Dawnbreak. However, despite the seeming safety from the orc and goblin warbands there are other dangers that wander Tyrant's Pass. It is said if the cold, snow, and unstable terrain won't kill you, the trolls and other creatures who live there certainly will.

Geography

Tyrant's Pass is a way through The Border Mountains. It takes an average group about a week to make the trip through the pass. However, they need to survive the sub-zero temperatures, the high altitude, and unstable terrain. Even without the creatures that make their den in the pass, the terrain alone can be fatal. The pass forces travelers over narrow strips of land near mountains, near collapsed in some locations. Beyond that, the mounds of snow, potential for avalanches, and frequent snowstorms make it easy to get turned around and stranded within the pass.

Fauna & Flora

There are plenty of creatures that call this already brutal to navigate pass even more difficult to move through. Between the snow trolls, tales of elementals, ice witches, amongst other creatures that call the place home. Perhaps what is most notable is that many who made the trip tell of an even more terrifying creature, Snar'athos'marik, a Blue Dragon with a breath that will freeze almost any traveler to their core, and an encounter with them is said to be fatal. Even the creatures that call this place home sometimes only seem to barely be able to tolerate the chill, and while normally some groups of these creatures would not be able to live or work together, many of them to band together to
