Overview

The Mirror of Lady Esperanza de Vocima is a treasured item of hers. She is a Vampiress of The Deadlands and seen to be one of the most vain and potentially one of the most arrogant and self-rightous of all the denizens of The Deadlands. Of course, her mirror is not just so that she might gaze upon herself at her leisure, it is said to be a powerful magical artifact capable of seeing into the future, and perhaps changing the past. She has made her lair near the border to The Watcher Islands at Castle Reztari.

Legendary Requires Attunement

A Glimpse Into the Present. While the mirror has the ability to read the future, it also has the ability to see into the present. So long as you are attuned to this item, once per long rest you may cast the spell Scrying using this mirror as the material component. Using this spell in such a way also grants an additional -4 to the save in addition to any other modifiers granted as per the spell.
A Glimpse Into the Future. The mirror has an uncanny ability to tell the future and provide insight into the happenings of an event that will happen soon. The mirror can grant insight into the potential outcomes of one event in the near future (10 days). While the outcomes do not have to be correct, they can provide valuable insight for those who know how to glean information from the future. Furthermore, while attuned to the mirror you cannot be surprised as you always can see a moment into the future before any danger appears.
Rewriting the Past. Perhaps one of the most arcane and esoteric abilities of the mirror is its ability to change and rewrite the past. While attuned to this item, twice per short rest you may use an action to revoke the damage dealt to a creature that you can see that has happened between your last turn and current turn. This will heal all hit points lost from the attack and can even revive a creature from the dead. You may only use this feature once per turn.

A small hand-mirror that seems to have its frame forged out a shiny black metal, that seems to absorb the light nearby. The frame is embedded with numerous jewels, all cut perfectly. Amongst the frame are rubies, sapphires, amethyst, and emeralds, with a singular topaz resting at the top of the frame. The mirror provides a perfect reflection of everything caught within, even those which might not normally appear in a mirror and always shows the most beautiful side of any creature depicted within.

Significance

Lady Esperanza de Vocima is both very vain but the mirror seems to be her most prized possession. While she has an army of undead and vampiric thralls, even some full-fledged vampires she granted the gift of undeath to and now in service to her, she actively lashes out at anyone who even dares to ponder touching her mirror. She is fiercely protective of it and its powers, and it is said she has escaped death at the hands of The Watchers many times because of it.
