Dez'mu

Overview

Dez'mu or The Abyss is the realm of Demons, the embodiment of Chaotic Evil. The Hellscape is ever-changing unlike Hell, which has a level of rigidity to it. Dez'mu is ever-changing and shifting to suit the purposes of The Archdevil, Lord of the Demons, who seek nothing more than the total destruction of reality and the planes themselves. While Dez'mu has been known to on ocassion grant reprieve to those who travel within, it is oftentimes an intense and hostile environment that seems the destruction of outsiders traveling its fiery pathways. Not to mention the fact that The Abyss is constantly seeming to expand as the hordes of Demons seem to grow with every soul killed in the name of The Archdevil.

Navigation

Navigating The Abyss is an almost impossible task, many wander in believing they are going to do battle with demons, slaying them by the score, or perhaps even with The Archdevil himself, but oftentimes they find themselves standed, unable to go home but equally unable to progress. Some talented realm-hoppers have managed a way to navigate Dez'mu to some degree, but even they tend to use strange and esoteric magic and devices that they can hardly explain, instead warning novices and those who seem to be wandering in without an idea as to what they are getting into to stay away. It seems that only these strange devices without an origin and perhaps Demons themselves are the only way to make it anywhere within Dez'mu.
