New Blood

NovaTech Engineering is a relatively young company, for a gigacorp. They were part of CosmoBio Dynamics, but the whole EnviroEngineering Department was laid off. Instead of scattering to the four winds, they decided to take their severance packages and start up a new company. They terraformed two of Saturn's Moons with innovative techniques and raw ambition and the windfall from that alone exploded them into gigacorporation territory. Since then, they've terraformed several asteroids in the belt and have turned their eye outside the Sol System.

Bitter Rivals

While CosmoBio Dynamics does their environmental engineering with algorithms and AI, NovaTech uses the human touch. Not only are their designs innovative, but they have an eye for aesthetics and employ an entire art team to ensure that the final project maintains a breathtaking view for any future colonists.
Their perceived human advantage is not appreciated by CBD, and the two companies fight over contracts regularly.

Dark Side of Kheeze

NovaTech Engineering has set up shop on the dark side of Kheeze, establishing a diplomatic, scientific, and trade outpost colony. The revenue streams from this alone will keep the company solvent and its founders wealthy for generations.
