Barrow of Kings
The burial place of Lord King Eastaughffe. After his burial, it was designated as the burial grounds of all the dead rulers of Saxony of which there have grown many. It’s marked by freestanding ritual stones surrounding an obelisk into which Lord King Eastaughffe himself inscribed wards of protection via the Old Runes. The burial grounds are off limits to anyone not of noble blood and are said to be protected by powerful spirits summoned by Lord King Eastaughffe’s obelisk.
Alterations
Originally, only the central obelisk guarded the Barrow though, as more bodies were added to the gravesite, the protections were strengthened with additional magick standing stones.
Architecture
Marked by crude white stones arranged in a spiral pattern centering on an obelisk.
