Relics

Relics are items found in The Abyss. While low class Relics have little to no use, the higher the grade, the more extraordinary its effects are. They are believed to be leftovers from an ancient civilization, and their functioning can't be comprehended by modern technology, let alone imitated.

Relics come in all shapes & sizes & are used for many different things. The power of an Artifact is classified into the following categories.

Fourth Grade Relics

These are common Relics that have pretty minimal uses. They are found in abundance in the Inverted Forest & even quite often in the Edge of the Abyss. These Relics are usually used as basic equipment and are often traded & sold overseas for a decent amount.

Third Grade Relics

These are Uncommon Relics that vary in usefulness. They are usually found in or past the The Great Fault. These Relics are often used by Blue & Moon Whistles to aid them in The Abyss.

Second Grade Relics

These are Rare Relics that are usually have very potent abilities. They are rarely found in or above The Great Fault, but become a bit more common in and past the Goblet of Giants. It's not uncommon to see Black Whistles or even some White Whistles use these Relics.

First Grade Relics

These are Very Rare Relics that are usually very versatile & very powerful. These are almost only found in or past the Sea of Corpses. These Relics are almost elusively used by White Whistles as it's difficult to trust lesser people with such powerful items.

Special Grade Relics

The most valuable class of Relics that can be found. These are items that can change the world and disrupt the balance of power between nations. Retrieving a single one to the surface can guarantee a prosperous future for a whole city or vastly increase the military potential of a country, depending on its use. Because these are so valuable, they are the only Relics that White Whistles are not allowed to keep for personal use.
