Goblet of Giants
The Goblets of Giants is the 4th layer of The Abyss. It is a sprawling jungle of unique, awe-inspiring and deadly fauna. This layer is characterized by a deceptive fusion of beauty and danger.
One of the greatest dangers to Delvers in this layer are the older Flat-creepers. This is due to the fact that the water they hold turns highly acidic, which is difficult to detect because old Flat-creepers look no different than a young one.
The high concentrations of water in this region causes high humidity and sometimes fog. The fog can be a great danger to Delvers due to more dangerous predators capable of using it to camouflage themselves.
Environment
The Goblet of Giants is a humid jungle of huge vines, roots, & giant concave discs called Flat-creepers. The tops of the Flat-creepers capture water from the air and the light from the forcefield refracts from this water, giving the scenery a blue hue. The landscape is constantly changing, and as such, no attempts have been made at creating a detailed map of its features, beyond pointing out non-jungle landmarks. One of the greatest dangers to Delvers in this layer are the older Flat-creepers.
