The Universe
Fire, water, earth, air, magic, caelum, and life. These are the elements which intersect our universe.
Fire, water, earth, and air form great pillars, piercing through the universe. Magic engulfs it. caelum is scattered around it. Life sparks and flickers and occasionally grows within it.
Geography
The universe is shaped like a filled cylinder which loops (though it is unbelievably long), topologically forming a filled torus. 4 great pillars (fire, earth, water, and air) run down the length of the cylinder. The outer edge of the universe forms the celestial torus, which is covered in celestial bodies, such as the sun, moon, and stars. Though once absent, magic now engulfs the universe. Life, however, barely intersects with the universe, sparking and flickering rather than flowing or remaining solid. However, once life grabs hold of the other elements, it can grow and multiply and remain steady.
At times, the four pillars will drift or vibrate or eddy. When this happens, they can get twisted up, colliding into one another, forming new worlds within the universe. It is then a matter of time until life flickers into the new world, producing new creatures.
