The Luthic Highliands
The Southeastern lands located within Thrace. While many acknowledge the lands are a territory of free cities, the region is technically part of The Republic of Thrace. Due to the volatile history of the region, the Thracean Democracy chooses to leave it be.
History
The "capitol" of this region is Vorrakis. Vorrakis is known for its gladiatorial events held at the Crimson Coliseum. Vorrakis, a city once known for its authoritarian rule, was overthrown by a rebellion of slaves and their undercity allies. Not much is known of the exact details, but the bards have told stories of an orc tribe that supposedly inspired the rebellion in the city and it surrounding lands. Towns and Cities across the land were all liberated into free cities after the Vorrakis rebellion. The cities were all renamed in the Orcish language supposedly to honor the tribes that inspired the initial rebellion of Vorrakis.
Tourism
The Crimson Coliseum was once known for cruel bloodsport. However, it is now known for intense battles for entertainment, glory, and honor. Since the rebellion, the coliseum is now a place warriors from across the world are trained and compete in various events.
