Solisar - Numen of Light (Sol-isc-are)

Sometimes depicted as an elven like humanoid with a bright yellow halo around her head, sometimes depicted as the sun itself. She is considered the God of light by Manaians and is a prime deity within the biggest of Thaerias faiths; the Church of the Wheel as well as the church of Sulaians.
What exactly she is meant to be the deity of is a point of some dispute from faith to faith. Sometimes seen as a warrior fighting an eternal battle with Erebus and his darkness, others see them as opposite sides of a coin, working in tandem to create the cycle of life.
Many myths speak of lost and weary travellers praying to her in their time of need, and if they have been suitably pious during their lives she will offer them a beacon to follow. Sometimes it is said she sends a solar, other times she arrives to lead them to safety herself. As with most stories about most Gods, these are largely unsubstantiated though.
