Jengel House
The Magic house of the Junta of Saxony
Leader: Josef Jengel, male human, a decrepit old man who is now filled with hate in his old age, many speculate the only thing keeping him alive is the desire to kill just one more elf... then one more... then one more. He is responsible for the vast majority of war crimes committed by Saxony and despite his age, he delights in using his powerful magic to duel and defeat elven gypsy mages as he can find them, his cruelty goes so far as to capture and experiment on the elves and its widely known that the Kaiser is mere minutes away from ordering his arrest and execution for such heinous crimes, but something keeps staying his hand it seems as Josef holds some sort of power preventing his removal
Champion: Uber von Braun, male human, the public face of the many testing programs of Saxony, Wernher has undergone enhancements that has turned him into a magical monster, able to cast devastating spells and take incredible amounts of punishment, this is all at the cost of his emotions and mental state, often times being a problem for his handlers as he gets distracted or confused by simple instructions, still, none can deny the value of the work that went into him and he is now treated more as property of the state than a person
Economy: Konrad Zuse, male human, master of necromantic magic, he spends his time and effort on raising armies of undead to perform menial labor in a new program designed to deal with Saxony's growing manpower program, this is widely detested by the populace, despite all the propaganda going into it and even the Kaiser is attempting to shut it down. However to Konrad he considers this the next logical step for humanity, and envisions a world in which clean and safe skeletons serve their human masters in paradise
Magic: Henrietta Hertz, female human, a powerful and somewhat insane lightning mage, she has struck herself with lightning so often that many suspect her brain is fried, as is her impulse control, she regularly gets distracted and will go off and do her own thing, which usually involves lightning. She has a crush on the Kaiser and this is widely known due to her many and ill-fated attempts to win his affection, still, she is far better than the other advisors hounding him and as such the Kaiser often will use her as an excuse to get out of his work and meetings, an arrangement she loves
Military: Carl Gauss, male gnome, one of the only non-humans to hold a position of power within Saxony, Carl maintains this position by inventing new and deadly weapons with which to outfit Saxony's soldiers, it is unclear if Carl enjoys his work and supports Saxony, or if he has no choice. Carl spends all his time in his workshop, trying to unlock the secrets to the items his ancestors made that freed the slaves, he never is seen in public and will rarely ever permit anyone inside his workshop unless they have a relic of the Devastation to give him
Diplomatic: Robert Bosch, male human, Robert is in charge of a research team that travels across Europa, finding magical anomalies and artifacts to bring back to study and learn from, he is regularly thwarted by the governments of these places who seek to take the artifacts found in their lands for himself and to that end Robert has begun lobbying alongside all the other nobles for increased funding and aid from the Kaiser, sometimes asking for outright war with Castonne where most magical artifacts are found.
Religious: Alfred Einstein, male human, an eccentric and funny older man who has broken away from the other hardline Saxony worshippers of Martius, instead he spends his time in schools teaching children of the good that Martius represents, and warning of his evils, because of this he has received a great deal of both attacks and aid in his efforts, the Kaiser sees him as the perfect vessel to turn away from the harmful Saxony teachings of old and yet he seems restrained by Josef who holds some sort of blackmail over Alfred that causes the poor old man to defer to Josef whenever he is around, like a beaten dog.
