Gnomes
- God/Goddess: Created by Addus and hidden away in the deep and small parts of the world, away from the other Gods and races who had forced Addus to create the Halflings for their own fun, Addus created the Gnomes to emulate his intellect, to be the race he really wanted to make.
- Description: A race of short humanoids with above average intelligence, slightly conical heads and eyes that shine like stars when reflecting light in dark areas.
- History: For 7,000 years the Gnomes were hidden from the other races and the Gods, living deep under the ground and in mountain homes, using their magic and technology to hide or kill anyone who came close to or did find out about them, they were the first to join with Humans during The Devastation and used their advanced magic and technology to combat the other races in the name of equality. Still, this only made them suffer slightly less as a race than all the others and many of their secret homes were found and destroyed in the carnage, yet more still remain, with Gnomes communities living in them who have had little to no contact with the outside world, those Gnomes that do leave these homes usually do so in search of knowledge.
- General Treatment: Gnomes are treated with suspicion, always suspected of having advanced, deadly or dangerous equipment with them, or of plotting masterful schemes, they are kept under close supervision by authorities but otherwise treated mostly fine.
- Patron Nation: Unlike most other races, the gnomes are highly sought after for their intelligence and value, due to the integral part they played in the Devastation they are widely hated by non-humans but find safety in human communities. They have no one nation to call home, instead settling into quiet lives in small hidden communities all over Europa, just hoping that history passes them by in peace.
- Personality Traits and Goals: Due to thousands of years of isolation, the Gnomes are somewhat socially stunted when dealing with other races, they are shy, quiet, keep to themselves, and keep their passion close to their chest, this only plays into the stereotypes about them but they dont seem to much care about the opinions of others, content to work alone or with those who share their passion.
- Attitude Towards Humans: The Gnomes trust Humans above all other races, even liking them in most cases, letting them into their homes, telling them with nervous and shy excitement about their latest breakthroughs, almost like a child trying to impress a parent, they seek the approval and safety that humans can offer, as they know it was only the Humans that stood with them during the Devastation, and many other races still harbor resentment for the Gnomes hand in toppling their empires.
