Addus
Created Race: Halflings and Gnomes and Gnomes were both created by Addus, with the Halflings he was forced to create them at the behest of his siblings, while what he really wanted to create was the gnomes. Addus didnt really put much effort beyond the bare minimum into the halflings, claiming to his siblings that he needed more power and so he was able to siphon power from them to make the halflings half decent, while most of his power actually went into creating the Gnomes, whom he hid far away from his siblings while the Halflings he presented with as much pride as he could muster.
Client Nation: Theocracy of Natinal has elected to take Addus on as their Patron God, worshipping him for his deception, wisdom and charisma as they strive to emulate him by being as fun as the halflings, and as crafty as the gnomes. The Theocracy believes Addus as being the only God worthy of worship, Martius went evil and the other Gods left the work to create their own races, only Addus tried to stay with the work until the end and actually ended Martius' crusade. They preach this fanatically, believing all other Gods inferior to the point that their worship should be outlawed, they enforce the worship of Addus wherever they can and enforce it as often and as forcefully as they can.
Tenets of Religion: Addus teaches mostly of intellectual ideals, of using trickery and deception instead of violence and power, the pen is mightier than the sword, technology and advancement is the best way to conquer the world and so on. Addus was able to use trickery to defeat Martius after all, but in his wisdom, realized that sole power over the world would corrupt himself as well, and so he imprisoned himself so that the creation of the Gods could live. His is a chaotic good view, in which everyone should attempt to be the best, nicest, and smartest person that they could be, regardless of what is expected or demanded from others. Breaking the law to feed the poor, clothe the sick or homeless and so on are seen as virtues, which naturally draw suspicion from other governments. In addition, the preaching of peace and resolution through intellect instead of violence leads to many of the faith being bullied by more physical religions unless the followers of Addus are in positions of power where they can use their intellect to protect and promote the faithful, which is seen as the way their religion is supposed to be propagated.
History: Often overlooked by his siblings for his lack of power or grace, Addus spent much of his time content with his work, shouldering more and more of the burden as his siblings left to complete their races. He fully intended to stay working with Martius until completion, but his siblings had other ideas, seeing Addus as something of a mascot, a funny little God they could bully into being on their side to further weaken Martius. So they dragged Addus away and forced him to create a race just like how they viewed him, a race they could use as jesters and entertainers, drained as he was, he was forced to submit and do just that, as explained above. Later, when Martius was imprisoning his siblings Addus and his gnomes turned on his siblings, aiding Martius until they alone were free from stellar cells, at this Addus realized that Martius had imprisoned his siblings just so they could die slowly as he and his humans slaughtered the other races. Addus was able to trick Martius, luring him to sleep after his long war and then quickly imprisoning him in his own cell of stars, destroying his plans for genocide and saving the world. Yet at the height of his victory Addus was able to realize that he too must be imprisoned lest this unlimited power corrupted him, so of his own volition he entered into a similar cell and gave up the total control and power he could have easily had, just to save the world and prove a point to his siblings.
Goals: Addus seeks to maintain the imprisonment of his siblings so that the world and races they made can continue to live in peace, without one God or race attempting to gain total control. Addus enjoys seeing the races interacting with one another, using his influence to try and make them like one another and work together to overcome obstacles. He advocates for unification among the races and that is why he isnt so concerned with human nations being the only ones left, so long as those humans integrate and treat other races fairly.
Rival Religion: bYnbris is the Rival of Addus, mostly because of her own meddling with the other races, for some unknown reason she is able to interact with the world much more than other Gods, perhaps due to her entering the cell of her choice when she surrendered to Martius, its possible she has managed to make some way of exerting power from within her cell, which concerns Martius and as such, he preaches to beware her and her machinations, doing his best to watch his sister carefully as she acts out her enigmatic plans.
Attitude towards imprisonment: Addus entered his cell of his own choice, he knew that the power could corrupt him and chose not to fall to it like his siblings did, he is determined to stay in his cell for as long as the balance is maintained, though it is rumored that one as smart as Addus must certainly have a way out of the cell he put himself in.
