Elves

• God/Goddess: Vonaya created the Elves after she watched Tarsil leave the work to create his own race using his power earlier than the rest. To compete with this she soon left as well, desiring her own race to rule supreme, to this end she made elves much more numerous than tieflings, yet still strong enough to beat anything that comes after. She takes great pride in her elves, and seeks to return them to their former glory, though now with a much more tame take on elven control, no more slaves means no more slave uprisings.
• Description: Tall, slender and beautiful, crated by Vonaya to rule the world in elegance and power, all are able to use some small amounts of magic and are skilled in various crafts and skills that they hone through the years, elves are enigmatic and stunning creatures, like Humans but more in all regards, the most diverse trait being that of their sharpened ears that taper to a point at the tip.
• History: Known across the world as the rulers before the Devastation, they owned the most land, the most slaves, the biggest empires and the held the most power. Power they used to oppress humans in particular. Enslaving most of the population as a means to "protect" them from other masters such as Tieflings and dwarves... As such, the Elves were hit the hardest by the Devastation, which saw their empires shattered, their people slaughtered, their Goddess imprisoned, their magic overwhelmed, their knowledge burned and their works of art vandalized, all races held contempt towards the elves and so all participated in their downfall until next to nothing was left. Despite having the most members of their race besides humans, elves are reduced to traveling caravans of gypsies, moving around so as not to get caught and harassed by their former slaves, their magics reduced to swindling, fortune telling and so on as their people carry on around what was once their empire.
• General Treatment: Elves committed a great many atrocities and now have that visited back upon them threefold, elves are spat on, mugged, treated with aggression and most forms of violence short of killing, they are driven from towns unless they are useful and are looked down on as former tyrants now beneath bugs. In areas where they do maintain power, the population under their rule often reminds them what would happen if they began acting like their old selves too much, ensuring the elves pride is trampled on even in their places of power.
• Patron Nation: Despite the Elves downfall, the Kingdom of Castone has allowed them to gain control over most facets of ruling and nobility, the true royalty remains human, but their advisors are mostly elves, most of the nobles and landowners are elves, and so on. These elves take great care to treat the rabble and peasants with just enough care so as not to incite riots, while also maximizing the power they used to wield, seeking to rebuild their empire now with peace and prosperity for all... with themselves being more equal than others of course.
• Personality Traits: Arrogant, prideful, pompous, determined to succeed and best all others in their chosen skill or craft, the elves crave perfection and pursue it in all its forms. They want to obtain their old knowledge and power, want to master the old magics they had and so on.
• Attitude Towards Humans: Humans were the cause of the Elven downfall, and in many ways they still view humans as direct threats to their lives, as the cause of all their hardships, and while this leads to some elves being cruel and trying to exert power over Humans as they once did, it leads to even more of them feeling shame and remorse for what they've done, and though they wont admit it or act openly on it, many elves try to make amends with secret acts of service and generosity, especially to the few humans that treat them well.
