Baum House
The Diplomatic house of the Junta of Saxony
Leader: Otto Von Baum, male human, a widely renowned and well traveled man, champion of the new roadway system that he built across Saxony, he is constantly seen traveling and using this road system himself as he goes about ensuring that Saxony maintains its coherency under the turmoil the new Kaiser brings to it. He enjoys his job and for that reason he enjoys the Kaiser, however as smog begins to cloud the sky and he can no longer enjoy the beauty of the Gods locked away in the stars he has begun to lobby the Kaiser for a reduction in industry, a crazed take supported by nobody else, but Otto is known for doing as he pleases, he simply wants to enjoy traveling upon his fancy roads
Champion: Berthold Beitz, male... human? A traveling knight of great renown who never removes his helmet, he appears whenever Saxony citizens are in danger and fights off monsters and villains alike on his trusty steed, Bucephalus. He is a rather odd figure, who sounds like an old human male, however its unknown what his true nature is and anyone who tries to remove his helmet he always manages to escape from. He is cocky and charismatic, often bantering as he battles or attempting to woo ladies as he saves them, yet he never remains long enough to remove his helmet and is always off to save someone else
Economy: Alfred Herrhausen, male human, a mysterious figure who spends a great deal of his personal wealth on his personal privacy, and yet also maintains a great deal of his wealth invested in various other noble houses, it seems that not much happens financially in Saxony without Alfred at least having a copper piece stake in it. His goals and motivations, personality and attitude mostly remain a mystery, as its his army of clerks and messages that do most of the work as he remains safe behind his rather large walled manor
Magic: Clara von Baum, female human, daughter of Otto, a lovely bard with an even lovelier voice, Clara travels with her father and brings joy and morale boosting music wherever she goes, her songs cover a wide variety of topics, all government approved, and have the uncanny ability to invigorate workers and warriors whenever she sings. She is longing to break free of the restrictions imposed on her by the Saxony propaganda offices but so far has done her duty to Kaiser and country by only singing what they approve.
Military: Hugo Junkers, male human, a pioneer in the field of aviation, Hugo uses stolen elven and gnomish knowledge to craft strange flying machines, none are big enough to carry humans or be useful yet, but there is great hope and promise in his work. He has his gnomish workers working day and night on this invention and is always lobbying for more and more funding from the Kaiser. He is adept at passing off inventions as his own or taking credit for them and considers the gnomish race to be a blessing given specifically to humans, he considers the war of Devastation to still be in effect and is a vocal radicalist of Martius, who cant be removed due to his control over the gnomes
Diplomatic: Heinrich Heine, male human, a very controversial writer who proposes ideas on how Saxony can finally move past its bloody history and embrace the future, perhaps even use love to overcome racism... naturally such writings get him run out of most Saxony towns, but he always has a special seat next to the Kaiser who enjoys hearing his theories, which just lead to all the advisors getting pissed off further at him. Heinrich is now a man on the run, writing his works from hidden places before fleeing and continuing his work elsewhere.
Religious: Rosalind Franklin, female human, a pious and devout woman who believes strongly in the utter superiority of humanity, so strongly in fact that she leads a surprisingly violent group of nuns that travel from town to town in search of non-human taint, it is said their magic is able to pinpoint if even a drop of elven, orcish or some other non-human blood exists in anyone's veins. At which point they take the person away to be purified and resettled elsewhere, to ensure that Saxony remains of pure human blood, without taint.
