Magic is real, albeit not entirely reliable, the gods can grant powerful boons to those who pray hard enough.
Cosmology
Made by Edaris the creator god, though in truth many civilizations have their own creation myth, no one is entirely sure, but what is known is at some point during the worlds creation a large object known as the world spear pierced the world from pole to pole, and shot out a tidal wave of magic that now is a average part of life, causing many, many species to form.
