Being the oldest recorded Kitsune, she has 20 tails, for a kitsune grows a tail every hundred years.

Her magical ability is unmatched, thanks to her Kitsune blood and Kami blood. she is capable of shapeshifting, summoning great thunder, and also bringing the burning light of the moon on her enemies.

The magical sword Masamune, forged by the God of storm Raiden, and a legendary swordsmith of the same name, the sword is able to cut through anything. It also is capable of wielding the very fury of the purest storms and lightning itself, being the finest sword in the world.

Personal history
For as long as the legends have told, fox's have been said to be wild tricksters of incredible power in the lands of Kantō. None exemplify that more then the mysterious Kitsune of the lands. However one stands out amongst all as the most powerful, ancient, and wisest of them all: that being of Mizuki no Muromachi. Legend tells that she was born when the black moon was closest to the world, and the spirits of the land became more chaotic and wild in that time. However, it is said during this time of chaos a woman was in labor, and was lying atop a tree stump begging for the god of the moon, Tsukuyon, to offer her mercy in her time of great pain. Though Tsukuyon is a jealous and sometimes uncaring god, he was moved by the woman's cries, and so would bless the woman with good fortune and magic. This would result in the woman giving birth to a kitsune, who she named Mizuki, meaning "beautiful moon". Though the woman did try to raise the child, the kitsune nature is hardly about staying put, and so Mizuki would disappear one day and seemingly vanish for good.
That was until 2306EC, in where the emperor at the time, one Nawa Fusatoshi, would begin to heavily favor a particular geisha woman under the name Saito. He favored her so much that she whispered many desires and promises of satisfaction if he but listened to her. She would convince Emperor Nawa to give her the castle belonging to his most powerful daimyo, one Asano Nakaaki, without informing him first, for was he not emperor? This would directly lead to an escalation of friction as the Emperor was not going to back down to a vassal, and Asano was outraged the emperor simply stole his property like that. This would directly lead to the Akisensō war, one of the bloodiest civil wars in Kantōnese history and the fall of the Fusatoshi dynasty, leaving millions dead. Some say as the emperor committed seppuku on the night of a full moon, Mizuki's laughter was carried across the winds.
In the year 2400EC, the Cataian Emperor Teng Shun was currently waging war to bring his vassals under control, when a strange woman in beautiful garments came before his great golden court. She promised him power and immortality, if he but offer her a few things: mala prayer beads made of the finest magical wood in the land, furs of the finest animals hunted on the night of a full moon, and to place his armies in the Jiangtong, and have them prayer to the moon for guidance. He was entranced by her and did exactly as she asked, and as night befell the army, the entire army died as their souls rushed into Teng Shun, and their dying screams echoed in his mind and drove him mad. However he became incredibly powerful, more so than any other Emperor, and would terrorize the land of Catai with an iron first. This resulted in the Holy Dragon Alliance being formed and the War for the Gates of Heaven was waged for 4 years, resulting in 20 million dead. However, it is said that the moon now glowed slightly brighter from now on, and a fox was seen walking away from the Emperor's palace.
In 3000EC, Mizuki would disguise herself as a belly dancer in the streets of Chatkheri of Al-Hinoso, where she would attract the attention of the Maharajah Jhanda Vadekar. He was enthralled by the movements of her body, and would have he escorted to his palace where he begged her to become a part of his concubine. She accepted, on one condition: that she be given a room at the highest tower of his palace, and a scroll. It is said that over time, Jhanda became more and more decadent, with the orgies in his palace becoming more and more depraved, until finally a great beam of light struck the tallest tower from the moon, and destroyed the palace. However, Jhanda's wife and Mizuki were never found in the rubble.
Since then, Mizuki has gone on to hide amongst the New Lands causing trouble and mischief, but always seeming to have soem form of greater plan. Some of her more recent accomplishments include a brief stint in Ashenfeld where by sleeping with a noble Lady's husband directly led to greater destabilization, and more recently tricking Raiden into sleeping with her and getting him drunk afterwards to make her a great electric sword before stealing it and running away. Though Raiden would so wish to make her suffer for her trickery, being the favored daughter of Tsukuyon, who is the brother of Armanotsa, he can't move against her. She has also taken a liking to select mortals, either bringing them to her home in the spirt realm for her entertainment, or to be her favored agents in the world.

She has formed the Cult of the Many Tailed Mistress, which operates as a sort of subdivision of the Kantō Cult of the Moon. They worship Tsukuyon but also Mizuki as the herald of moonlight and chaos.
