Barak Khalgalir
The first and mightiest of the sky forts

Those of Barak Khalgalir live an almost alien life from those of the Mortal Realm. They live within a strange and advanced city floating in the sky. They have technology unknown to many in the Mortal Realm, and as such see themselves as almost better then those of the Mortal Realm. Truthfully most Sky Dwarves now believe themselves to be better, but those of Barak Khalgalir have the means to prove it. They are the largest and most technologically advanced of the Sky Ports, always looking to develop cutting edge technology to help them survive the Elemental Planes. Those from Barak Khalgalir tend to be very inventive and always looking to push the envelope with anything they do. For them, unlike their ancestors, there is always room for improvement.
History
They had called him a disgrace to his ancestors. Trelgrun would lay his plans for the Dwarven peoples future, and half would decry him a traitor to his ancestors. However they fell on deaf ears, and so Trelgrun would take the half of the dwarves loyal to his cause, and ride away on their great airships. They would use the newly found technology to warp out of the mortal realm, and end up in the elemental plane of earth. Holding their own meeting, it was agreed that they should scatter to the other elemental planes to best reduce the chances of any of their enemies coming at them like before. Thus, Trelgrun would claim the plan of Earth, and make the first and mightiest sky port: Barak Khalgalir. He would wow the people with new inventions, and eventually expand the sky fleet of Barak Khalgalir, and introduce more and more strange magitech inventions with the materials they used for their ships. So it flies prodly to this day, traversing the ever dangerous elemental planes, mining for more and more of the materials they need to keep their homes and ships afloat, and to one day surpass the empires of old.
