Priceless War

With the recent independence of Calomia and the Courtsend Autonomous Republic from the Republic of Tersten, tensions over ownership of the Priceless Dam continued to boil until 72 PC, when the two nations engaged in all out war over the region.   Ultimately, neither side was able to gain the upper hand, leading to a relatively bloodless war of standing on either banks of the Takiwerk River trying to scare the other into submission. With this not working, both sides finally agreed to joint control over the Priceless Dam in 74 PC, ending a pointless war and returning back to the status quo.   While the war was minor and uneventful, the fact that it happened so close to the borders of the Republic of Tersten only served to tarnish the Republic's legitimacy as 'Representative of all Tersteners on the interplanetary stage'.
