Tersten City Starport
The Tersten City Starport is the largest, and primary starport on the planet Tersten . It is a large building constructed partially into a mesa. The port can handle a large number of ships at any one time, and can service most passenger vessels. It is connected to Tersten City via maglev transport, as well as most other major cities on the planet. The starport was initially proposed in 24PC, but economic difficulties forced the project to be delayed until 41PC. Construction started under the People's Republic of Lordania, but following their collapse and the subsequent establishment of the Republic of Tersten, the project was delayed again until it was finally completed in 52PC. Since then, it has become the most populous and busiest spaceport on the planet, second only to the South Harelstone Spaceport.
Purpose / Function
The Tersten City Starport is the primary means of accessing the surface of Tersten. It runs daily connections between the surface and orbital stations. The Starport is also a primary hub on the rail network, with easy access to most of Tersten's major cities.
