Giovanni Sabina is a Tersese human from Maletto. He is the Chief of the Defence Staff and the head of the Tersten Army, second only to the President of the Republic of Tersten. He is most senior uniformed military adviser to the Republic, and to the President. A committed anti-fascist, Sabina founded a sect of the Tersten Resistance that opposed the People's Republic of Lordania from 28PC until 40PC, where it was absorbed into the newly formed Tersten Government-in-Exile, with Sabina becoming Chief of Staff, a position he has held since.
