Daniil Amosovich Kutznetsov
Daniil Amosovich Kuznetsov, known professionally as D. A. Kuznetsov, is a Tersten politician, who served as President of the Republic of Tersten between 60 and 62PC. Born in 18PC, D. A. Kuznetsov was born in Rovena, the same year as the Pinascimate Penal Authority was disbanded. His parents were penal colonists who had escaped several years prior, settling in Rovena alongside other Slavyano-Terskiy, becoming the modern Rovenskiy.
During the reign of the People's Republic of Lordania, Kuznetsov became part of the Tersten Government-in-Exile in his early 20s, working alongside Ronald Mayweather. He was prominent in Respublika Rovenya politics until his election to President of the Republic of Tersten in 60PC. Under his presidency, Tersten saw a continuation of the interstellar Serajji Conflict, a war that had started under the previous president, Sonia Bhattacharya, it saw waves of popularity and unpopularity across the planet. With the war drawing to a conclusion in 2297, Kuznetsov was seen as unpopular due to the large amount of war dead, something he largely had no control over. He served one term as President, before losing the 2300 Election to Perry Winters.
