Bukwiza

Bukwiza is a small town in the Mandara Grassland, only a few miles from the border between the Moore Republic and the Respublika Rovenya. The town was a quiet and unassuming one for much of history, with rolling farmland stretching for miles around the town.  From the People's Republic of Lordania to the Imperium Valianum, the town had been under occupation since its creation.
The town was always a hotbed for resistance activity against both the PRL and the Imperium, and in 47 PC, the Battle of Bukwiza took place between local rebels and the Imperial Army.  It ended with rebel victory, and the slow collapse of the Valian Empire. Its anniversary is celebrated every year with fireworks and bonfires across the town.
